Yeap, latest KAV SDK version 8.0.2.48.
Same engine as current KAV Enterprise versions.

Good point... I don't think there is a dedicated e-mail for reporting phishing sites.
You may want to try their online technical support. Here

    Cheers,

On the Zone Alarm blog i found 2 posts abot phishing and in this 1: Link they say that i should send the phishing e-mails and url-s to phishing@irs.gov. Maybe Zone Alarm use their database?

Uuuhmm, I beleive the IRS address is to report tax phishing attempts.
But if you need to report other phishing I guess you need to contact support. I have been checking ZA web pages I could not find anything more targeted.

Kinda off topic... Those that are using ZA extreme or IS....Is it still a thristy blot hog? Meaning does it still use alot of memory and slow down your system?

Awesome. Thanks! I used to use it back in the day. It was a great firewall but it dragged my system down. Nice to know that it has the good firewall and kaspersky engine running. Nice combo.

You might want to load it up and try it . Some have complained that their Internet connection was lost with this installed . Might want to make sure it does not do that to you .

Current Beta works beautifully on defaults...
Yes, if you disable the option 'Load ZA... at startup' on some windows 7 config. or if you remove ZAX by deleting the folder. Don't laugh! It actually happens more often than you can imaging. :D

What really impressed me is the Advanced scan. It's very good against 0-day malware.

Varies very much... more days per week, once per week, every two weeks. I don't think there is a pattern :)

Thanks! I was testing on phistank with phising url's and after the update it caught 27 out of 30. So it is effective but before the update it was 21/30. I think they should update more often.

Good point! May be the best is to feeback product management team directly. There is a dedicated section in ZA forum that is periodally monitored. Here :thumb: (you need to be a registered user)

Yeah, I really look forward to the release of the current beta. With still a few fixes needed it will be really the best extreme version so far ;)

Is it light in terms of I/O and CPU cycles and how does it compare to my combo of MBAM and GW?

Well, you mention two very different tools. I am not fully familiar with. ZA Extreme is quite different product (suite -> firewall, antivirus, antispyware, phishing and spysite filtering, parental control, sandbox, etc).

CPU is 80% PC configuration/driver dependent. I/O is largely non indicative of performance or lack of performance. IMO, you would need to install it on your machine to test how does it work for you. Here (win7) it works absolutely light and fast :) . Results may very much vary depending on the extent of security overlapping. Free stable beta here

Do you run it in conjunction with something else or do you run it alone and does it work fine with out-of-box settings and so on? Thanks :)
