zone alarm and nintendo wifi dongle

HI, a friend of mine has zone alarm and unless he disables it he cant get the nintendo dongle to connect.

what rules are needed for it to connect?

If they are connecting through their router the computer should have no part in this problem, if they are trying to connect through the computer they need to make sure their firewall can do internet connection sharing, and make sure internet connection sharing is correctly setup, so they need to read some help files.

If ZoneAlarm installed on the pc somehow interacts with the router, then they really need to read the manual on how to make sure this problem doesn't effect other computers on the network, and this interaction can very likely be disabled to prevent this problem/annoyance. A UPnP enabled router is all that should be needed, which any sold for a long time are by default.
