    my computer has started saying that this file is missing zivvinesd.386. does anyone know what it is?

    Hi nicholasmjb, and welcome.

    I have moved your post out of the General Topics forum and into this forum.

    I am not finding anything on that file you have mentioned, so it could be related to malware. Please follow Steps 1 & 2 here: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=15913

    Then post your HijackThis log here for someone to review. Please do not fix anything with HijackThis yourself as what it will list will be mostly harmless and even essential. Wait until an Expert has reviewed it and they will advise what needs to be fixed.
