Will ExploitShield auto update in the background or will it be manual?

Forgive me if this has already been asked as I could not find a definitive answer... Is there a Pro version available for testing and if so where can it be downloaded? If a Pro beta is not available at this time, is there a time frame as to when one may be? I really like this software and it has done extremely well in my private testing so far. I, for one, would be willing to purchase Pro once it is gold if it performs as well as the browser edition. I would definitely like to be involved in the beta process either now or if and when one becomes available.

Does it make sense to protect also other security products like the av's?

Care to comment, because it is not in the design scope now?

I am showing 11 shielded applications. That number seems high to me.

I am probably the novice of the group here, I have never even heard of EMET until I started reading these forums, but running an older system like I do, I tried to download .Net framework in a few different versions, I understand that you need at least version 2.0 for EMET to work, I ran into difficulties with "Foggy Bottom", which is Microsoft's download site, and just said the heck with it. I decided to run ExploitShield, instead, and after a little bit of initial confusion, it is up and running fine. I did notice that the taskbar icon turned orange once or twice while I was surfing the web. I don't think that it means anything, just one of XP's nuances....

Ah, good call. Chrome, 2 extensions, 4 plugins (2 disabled, all click to play) so that makes sense. :thumb:

Ok, just saw the taskbar turn orange when I logged into my VPN....tells me its working....XP/SP3.....pardon my ignorance, but I spend quite a bit of time researching stuff like this, I think this program is working, browser edition, so far, so good, no instability issues, websurfing just as before.:D

    Thankful your welcome:thumb:
it protects your whole browser and all components such as Java, Adobe Reader, Flash, Shockwave. Blocks all exploit kits such as Blackhole, Sakura, Phoenix, Incognito without requiring any signature updates. No need to train or configure, ExploitShield is 100% install-and-forget anti-exploit solution.

I have the problem with the disappearing tray icon, which I know has already been mentioned. Any idea when we will get another beta build that addresses this, and until we do is there a way to open the UI?

The only way I was able to get the program working again was to reboot my computer.

Sounds like a bad uninstall/reinstall. This is a know issue which we are already fixing for beta2.

To fix these incomplete uninstalls do the following:

    1- Uninstall from Add/Remove
    2- Reboot
    3- Delete HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ProtectorDriver
    4- Reboot
5- Install again from ExploitShield-Setup.exe installer

    @ ZeroVulnLabs:

    Some feedback:
    1. I installed Chrome Browser.
2 Log stated Chrome Browser protected.
    3. Uninstalled Chrome Browser.
    4. ExploitShield taskbar icon disappeared.
    5. ExploitShield taskbar icon reappeared after computer reboot.

    6. Installed Chrome Browser.
    7. Log stated Chrome Browser protected.
    8. Unistalled Chrome Browser.
    9. ExploitShield taskbar icon still present.
    10. Rebooted computer.
    11. ExploitShield taskbar icon disappeared.

It seems uninstalling an application ExploitShield protects is causing some problems.
I will follow the steps you provided me via PM to fix ExploitShield.

    Windows 7 32 bit Ultimate
    IE 9
