So what's up with this thing? Have they updated it so it's actually detecting anything (and also showing detection popup) and that it's not running a retarded on-demand scan over and over (in a super slow mode scanning 5 files in 10 seconds)? I liked it's first impression simplicity but the core design was a total miserable failure on so many levels it wasn't even funny anymore.

I mean it has even less settings than MSE, BitDefender engine, even though a bit older is not bad and being fully automated is good for noob users, but it's so badly designed it's not protecting anything at all and it's just ruining the disk by accessing it constantly.

Yeah they somewhat fixed that bug, so the on-access module detecting things, just the reaction is a little slow but they are working on that too. The never-ending on-demand scanner may be removed and replaced with realtime scan results (like in Panda Cloud 1.5). Idk about the detection popup but I think it is under consideration.

The next update will include file/folder exclusion and some fixes.

Is this a new version, or the one that has been out for months?

ZenOK beta was updated just recently. Noticeable changes include:

    - That never-ending audit scan was replaced with a realtime scan result thingy. Feels slightly lighter now.
    - An Options menu was added and includes a Settings tab. Only one setting exists, however: proxy compatibility.
    - Malware detected through right-click scan are automatically sent to quarantine.
    - Right-click scan and interface bugs were resolved. (Reported by me)

Still no virus warning popup though. :(

    Um...Well..
The installation was the same and the program is still in beta. Other than the few GUI changes, not much has changed on the outside. The modules seemed to have been updated though from what I could tell.
