Internet Explorer 8 or 9?
I think just 8.
A minor performance update was released on August 4th.
- Reduced amount of bandwidth ZenOK consumes.
I was able to troubleshoot the issue, clocks.
I downloaded six samples from malc0de (using Chrome) and waited for ZenOK to quarantine them. Nothing. Or at least so I thought. When I attempted to run one of the samples, I got an error window. I then opened ZenOK and clicked "See details", and noticed three files were quarantined (3/6). At the same time, the quarantine count went from 0 to 3 (i.e. refreshed). However, in Internet Explorer 9, ZenOK's Download Protection module kicks in and it quarantines the file before it finishes downloading.
So there may be a small bug in the GUI. ZenOK seems to be slow to refresh or something. The program is still a little buggy, but it seems to be working.
I think there should be a pop-up when something is reconised as a virus because otherwise there would be confusion if it reconised a virus but you think it did not because it did not tell you.
Yeah I told them that too. But of course, BitDefender has taken the same route through autopilot. Maybe ZenOK should provide an option to turn "autopilot" on/off.
Update: ZenOK Free Antivirus is now in BETA. Download link: http://www.zenok.com/en/?php=en/download-2/
That would be smart, but is so new I will not egg on them too much. I think it will turn out absolutly brilliant. I would definitely use it once my AV subscription expires.
ZenOK website has been redesigned to look much more professional. Take a look: http://www.zenok.com/
They also have a new community-powered forum. Post your ideas to help them improve ZenOK Antivirus! http://getsatisfaction.com/zenok
Yes, much better, any other changes. I am comtemplating the switch to zenOK
So far, thats about it. Other than they are offering 21GB free online backup. http://www.free.zenok.com
The blonde on the home page is not only hot, but virus free.
That is simply amazing
ZenOK Free Antivirus Pro
Do you like it so far?
Yes, so far best AV I have tried, that is why I asked about the updates.
P.S. Tell them to keep up the good work
Best? You're kidding, right?
P.S. Why not tell them yourself?
I am kidding , got you fooled there. It is (Zen)OK. I will keep it if the updates get fixed, if not good bye ZenOK.
P.S. I will but where should I tell them (ha ha)
Of course you were, and I saw right through your disguise.
P.S. Their community forum. (link posted above)
Is it decent to use ZenOK 2010 as the primary antivirus?
