We know that, and so do they. :cautious: But can't you tell that they are trying? :argh: After this upcoming update is released, it would considered 'decent' to use, much better than using ClamWin. ;)

concern for other suite is not needed if you are loyal to one.

If that is so, then there isn't a need to take part in betas for other AV solutions. Not sure why you are saying this, especially if this is coming from an IT such as yourself. :doubt:

@Noob Nope. (If you are talking about a PCMag review or something.) :)

Okay..? And ZenOK, Zillya, and Iobit don't have potential? Security experts thought MSE had no potential, and look at it now. Anybody who tries hard enough to get better has potential. :)

I did not mention Orbit and Mse, if you come to my study you will later understand me. no reason to argue.

Might have potential if it actually detects anywhere close to what BitDefender does. Anyone have a recent test?

Did you read page two? Please do, and read my posts. I'll test it after the bugs are fixed, possibly. OR try this test setup: IE9 + ZenOK Antivirus + ZenOK Security Toolbar

Yes, and there's no information about detection rates there. Bug or not, it needs similar detection and protection in order to have potential.

It does. On-demand results (in my test) are comparable to BD 2009-2010.

Generic trojan blocked and quarantined by ZenOK. VirusTotal results removed per Policy.

For some reason I am unable to edit my post. :doubt: Anyways, BitDefender detects the file as Trojan.Generic.KD.208861. Same classification, but the numbers are different. Not sure why.

    ZenOK 2 has been released!

    - Faster scanning
    - Smaller footprint
    - Easier signup
    - New way to select files (Online Backup feature)

Major bug in the realtime module seems to have been fixed. :argh: I tested it against a couple of samples from Malc0de and it quarantined roughly 5/7. I was using Chrome (latest stable build).

ZenOK utilizes the BitDefender 2010 engine. The program only supports english and spanish at the moment, I am not sure when the program will be released in other languages.

Is it still grinding the HDD over and over again with its retarded on-demand scan?

Yes, it seems so. They may remove it eventually, though it doesn't bother me much (i.e. it isn't annoying).

How do you get this new version? I downloaded from their website, and it only included backup software. So I downloaded the AV from softpedia, and that was v1, which does not appear to have an update funtion.

Guess they're one of the companies being slow to push out their updates to all sources, give them 3 days and check back again.

    Cheers
