Crap ! Hey, Franklin, or anybody, when did this 6.5.700 come out ?

I find my four machines with ZASS have 6.1.744.001 and when I check for an update from the ZASS "Overview"/"Preferences" tab, I get the response "Your internet security is up to date".

Are they staging the autoupdate and this was done recently and they just haven't gotten to me ?

No...I think that the AutoUpdate function is simply inoperative.

    Crofttk,

I have the same version as you and get the same results when I click "check for update".

Zone Labs releases auto program updates by region so as not to overwhelm their servers. It has only been out a week or so. You guys should be picking it up soon. You can go to the main ZL website and download manually if you wish.

Any guesses which region gets it first?

I don't know for sure its region-based(most probably though) but notifications for updates are definitely staggered to prevent too much load.

OK, thanks very much, Rilla, and thanks you last 3 posters -- this was what I had hoped I was seeing.

However, whether update is functional or not and for whatever reason, and despite the fact that I can manually update, it doesn't look like I want to be moving from 6.1.744.001 until the smoke clears on what's up with the defrag problem or Zone Labs fixes it.

With the newest 6.5 version, I have no wireless internet unless I exit ZA then restart on a fresh boot. Did not happen before. <--Just an FYI for anyone wireless thinking about updating.

While I no longer use ZL products, when I was, I developed a policy of waiting for the 2nd or 3rd update after new major versions. Zone Labs seems to have either a very short beta test cycle or not releasing betas to a large enough base to get a good handle on conflicts with other software and such. I just got tired of paying for their products just to be a beta tester for them.LOL
