There needs to be a warning of some kind, or a way to block access to certain resources
This is one reason I use Android. Not only do I see permissions by default, but I can use an app to block what other apps can access :)

I heard iOS apps apparently don't advertise what they need access to, this needs to be added ASAP (hopefully in 5.1). The first thing I do when I browse apps on the WP marketplace is look at the permissions the app wants. I have none installed that require permissions to "contacts" and have yet to see one personally.
