I'll turn on my built-in Windows XP Pro SP2 Firewall set to no exceptions, and I'll only use Firefox browser w NoScripts and SpoofStick extensions, and a limited user account when surfing the net. Also, w hardening systems.. SafeXP, Harden-IT and Windows Worm Doors Cleaners.

    My final selection:

    1) SHADOWUSER PRO
    2) NOD32
    3) PROCESSGUARD FULL
    4) LNS

I have also RegDefend and AdMuncher but the four I've chosen make up my perfect system (IMO!)

hah, an interesting thread..i like it :p

well i don't know..guess my opinions could change but i'd probably go with:

    1.) NOD32

    2.) ewido full

    3.) A-squared Pro

4.) SpywareBlaster OR Hijackthis ;) (haven't fully decided yet)

:D the best of the best i guess (theyre all paid :p)

1)CHX-I(configure a basic outbound not relating to apps and have the best spi available)
2)NOD32(should stop mostly everything before entering)
3)Proxomitron(should make my browsers pretty invulnerable)
4)HijackThis!(If i get infected, I can then research and get rid of the baddy, no problem)

Sweet, only 3 realtime programs :D

From what i've read from what everyone is using i'm going to choose between Ewido, Online-Armour and Process Guard. Could someone please explain do these programs crossover in their protection/detections, would it be beneficial to own all three or would i be wasting my money?

ewido is an antitrojan while pg and online armor are HIPS. HIPS may vary in their function but they usually alert if a process does a certain action, if certain files are modified that kind of thing. they dont rely on signatures much.
