Well...what can one say that has not already been said?...heh..heh!!

Our Primmy is one of a kind.....thank heavens!!

As a charter member of the decimated Hoorah Brigade he was a sometimes loyal patriot battling the evil doers from 'Downunder'. Through 'thick and thick' (to borrow Chise's phrase), but mostly thin, he stood by my side on our Flagship, the SS Bottomsup til the last minute and then absconded w/the last lifeboat.

How could you spread such a cacamamie rumor like that Primmy. Overdo Victory celebrations!! What Victories?? Our over the top festivities after our crushing Defeats were merely to bolster the troops morale. Loading our survivors down w/plenty of medals kept them too pooped to scoot.

Report to the Poop Deck at 3 1/2 bells for your reprimand ....cocktails and finger sandwiches to be served after the yelling. Uniform of the day is optional as long as it's Hawaiian shirts and culottes.

I may be a tad late ..wife wants some sticky buns for breaky..:p

    A Real Bun Fight

Would you watch people climb a tower covered in buns? More than 20,000 people flocked to the Hong Kong Island of Cheung Chau to watch the unusual religious ritual.

The event commemorates islanders who died in a bubonic plague in the 19th century. The sweet buns were believed to cure all illnesses.

12 climbers were given three minutes to climb the 14 metre tower and collect as many as they could. The buns at the top earn more points than those lower down. It was the first time women were allowed to take part in the event and all competitors had to wear safety harnesses.

This is the first time the event has been held since it was banned in 1978 a similar tower made of bamboo collapsed injuring more than 100 climbers and onlookers.

The government has allowed the tradition to be resurrected this year in the hope of luring visitors to Hong Kong's colorful islands.

Even through the 20,000 people were crammed into an area big enough for 1,000 they didn't seem to mind. The majority ended up watching the event on two giant screens in other parts of Cheung Chau. The event was also shown live on television.

    Hah...I said Hah!!

Who the heck is they? The only support you gave to the 'Hoorah Brigade' was to help the 'Troopettes' put on their nylons. The lying part is correct though!
