Ukraine's State Security Service (SBU) raided the Kiev and Odessa offices of Russia's top search site Yandex on Monday, accusing the company of illegally collecting Ukrainian users' data and sending it to Russian security agencies.

Ukraine imposed sanctions on Yandex and several other Russian Internet firms this month and blocked access to their websites, saying it wanted to guard against cyber threats.

It seems more like the Ukrainian government has collected users' data by seizing those computers. :shifty:

    Hmmm...
It seems that you guys are not very familiar with the reality of this country and the region of Europe, so briefly ... for years there is a conflict...even more - war...between Ukraine and Russia and not only diplomatic. The result of the conflict is the occupation of parts of Ukraine, the destruction of towns and villages ... and the death of many people.
It is not so funny, and the reasons of the ukrainian decisions are probably much more serious.

Ichito- Not all of us are ignorant of what is going on, and we know that it is a horror beyond words. The Husband of my best friend went back to Ukraine from NYC to fight for his country and was lost as a direct result of the Ukrainian C&C being compromised by CyberWarfare. His wife was 6 months pregnant and now his daughter will never know her Father.
