Yahoo! wants me to upgrade

    I think that just about sums up Yahoo! Mail perfectly, I couldn't agree more. It used to be so simple to use. The beta looks promising though. IMHO Gmail is probably the best. AOL is straightforward & works most of the time.

    Just do not upgrade!!!

    Ignore thier stupid messages about upgrading!! (Your account may stay on the older one)

    I am @ 800x600 also,i like it the best :)

    I just got the stare down from yahoo on one of my email accounts as it was a forced upgrade. I blinked first and went for it. But the email upgrade was much better than I had anticipated. It's fast to click around in the different emails and ad muncher didn't appear to choke. For some reason I am remembering a prior upgraded yahoo email that was just horrible- they forced that chat feature, etc and I went back to the classic version. But this latest version is a much better effort than the prior upgrade.

    I agree, although it is in essence still a beta (I think), it is much cleaner & seems faster than the last upgrade version. It's working well in Opera & SeaMonkey now as well.

    Sorry about the format but it's in two columns and I'm too bugged to format it correctly. I've seen this with two different browsers: Firefox and Epiphany.

    I clicked on USA though I'm in India and it returned me to the proper page giving me access to my mail.
