Yahoo! Messenger Network Overrun By Bots

    I've never entered a Yahoo chatroom, but if all of these automated programs are blocking people from joining, then what is the purpose of them running since no one can see all of the advertising? o_O I guess they must be displaying their ads over all of the other Yahoo advertising? o_O :rolleyes:

    yep, the last paragraph in the article says it all.

    I would call it Spyware Bots 360. Spyware gone full circle eating it's own backbone. :D :thumb:

    A few weeks back, I tried to log in, and saw that every room was full. This explains why. Now, however, I can log in but am asked to click on a link that does not appear, to confirm I am not a bot. Sent a "no link" message to no avail. I've been called a lot of things, but never a bot.
