This guy was about to come out with a version with AI guard from one very respectable Company. What happened, and why not? Anyone knows. It looked promising!
How promising? Xvirus depends on dot Net. Search dot Net on the web -- it often has stability problems of its own -- plus lots of Windows patches & updates. Ergo, xvirus uses a Windows feature to defend Windows. IMO any antimalware app should be self-sufficient & able to stand on its own. Use of dot net gives hackers another attack vector to bring down xvirus AND it's an attack vector that is largely beyond xvirus's control.
