Good news for Android users who want to have a very granular control of their apps: XPrivacyLUA, the successor of XPrivacy is available! XPrivacy is only available for Android up to v. 6.0.1 and was not adapted to higher Andoid versions by its author Marcel Bokhorst (M66B). But a couple of days ago he's introduced XPrivacyLUA which supports also later versions including Oreo. It's available as a module for Xposed. You can install Xposed (a rooted phone is necessary!!!) for old Android versions from here and for Android 5+ from here. Note that the list of restrictions available in XPrivacyLUA is not yet as comprehensive as in XPrivacy. Expect further improvements in the coming weeks.
