XP SP3 cant contect with kernel

    i have had Nod 32 for about 3 yrs and been very happy ..no probs at all....now i recently installed xpsp3 and my AV has gone...i can open the scan window but the control center wont open..give a message about being unable to contact the kernel so i dont know if ill get updates or if its working
    is there any others with this prob and is there any patches to correct this

    Hello therugbycoach,

    Try a reinstall over the top of NOD32 and restart your computer.

    If that doesn't help, try uninstalling NOD32 and restart the computer. After restarting, delete the ESET folder located in program files and reinstall the program.

    Hello,

    before it check, if NOD's service is enabled (Start => Run => services.msc => NOD32 Kernel Service).
