I have installed spyblaster products on my XP Professional. I have been very pleased with protection provided by spyblaster etc. I had previously installed the payfor version of Ad-aware. However, I recently tried to use the restore facility of XP prof.

    However, it failed to restore.

Have others experienced problems with XP prof. with spyblaster products?

    Any work around?

Personally I woul dnever use the Software Restore that is built into the OS. It is buggy and can not be trusted.

I would suggest using a third party software to make backup of your system on a regular basis. i.e. Acronis True Image or Ghost.

    Hi,

SpywareBlaster shouldn't be able to interfere with System Restore (nor has it in any tests I've done).

Have you scanned your system for viruses? Also, did the machine attempt to restore and then fail? Or were you never able to get it to the point of attempting?

    Best regards,
