    Hi guys

I've just switched from Nod32 v.3 to v.4. When I was using v.3, there was no problem with xp boot. However, having installed v.4 and reboot the computer, xp gets stuck at windows logo screen while booting and that little progress animation thing keeps moving from left to right and nothing happens. It is clearly related to v.4 but cannot figure out why. Did any of you have the same problem and how did you resolve it?

    Any help appreciated.

Yes, I booted the comp in the safe mode but only to uninstall the product coz that was the only thing I can think of to re-boot it in the normal mode.

Try all of the possibilities in this ESET knowledge base article

If nothing works, submit an issue ticket to ESET.

Do not use registry cleaners, etc, to recover from this situation.

I did all your suggestions but nothing has changed, still the same. I had the same problem last year as well, so I decided to stick with the v.3. Assuming that many others experienced the same issue, I thought Eset may have rectified the issue but apparently not.
