"XP Antispy"

Hi All :

"XP Antispy" is listed as one of the Features; what is its "function", what does it do ?

So both are eaxctly same?

 

The standalone has some extra "features you can en/disable". I'm using the newest xp-antispy, but the "old" Ewido, so what the "new and improved" AVG has I don't know.

Hi "Get" :

The "original Standalone version"s Changelog shows periodic
"Connection Limit" modifications, usually after a Microsoft Update;
what is this ?

in WinXP SP2, Microsoft lowered the number of concurrent TCP connection attempts to 10 per second. some applications like p2p may suffer lower performance from this and thus a (unofficial) patch was created.

the patch simply allows u to change the aforementioned number.
