xp activation

    Im just wondering, after formatting the hard drive and restoring the system using true image does windows xp needs to be reactivated or it will remain activated.

    After an image restore everything on the disk is exactly as it was at the time the image was created. So if XP was activated then it will still be activated after the restore.

    Reactivation may be necessary when significant hardware changes are detected, but simply restoring an image on the computer it was created on would not cause this.

    Activation Will Not be required When restoring As Long As You backup The Entire Partition (Disk 1)
