    Thank you very much for the info, @Stupendous Man. I've been using XnView MP for a couple of weeks and still like it.:)

    You're welcome, Buddel, and I'm glad you like XnView MP.
    To my shame, I must confess I hardly use it. That is because I hardly need it.
    Primarily, I use Gwenview (image viewer by KDE, on Kubuntu) for viewing and cropping or rotating. For more advanced editing, I have XnView MP and Pinta image editor (snap version). Since I rarely need anything other than Gwenview, I have little experience with XnView MP or Pinta. But it is good to have these tools when I need them.
