POCO, a brand that spun out of Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi earlier this year, today launched the POCO F2 Pro smartphone as it continues its new journey as an independent firm.

The POCO F2 Pro, like its two-year-old sleeper hit predecessor Pocophone F1 smartphone, punches above its price class. It features an all-screen 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display (with 2400×1080 pixels), in-screen fingerprint scanner, support for 5G, quad-core rear camera setup, and a pop-up front camera that quietly tucks away when not in use. It also features a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The smartphone comes in two variants: one with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage that is priced at €499 (roughly $540), and the other that features 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage that costs €599 (roughly $650).

POCO F2 Pro is the second smartphone from the company ever since it spun out of Xiaomi earlier this year. The company’s first product, called Pocophone F1, was launched in 2018 and was well received by the market.

You see, there are two variants that are essentially identical, with the only difference being storage capacity. The 64GB version costs 229€ while the 128GB phone is just 40€ more at 269€. Poco X3 goes official w/ Snapdragon 732G, 120Hz display, more

The latest Poco X3 NFC has now officially been unveiled during a dedicated live stream by the Xiaomi-offshoot with modest internals and some impressive hardware on offer.

Previous Pocophone or Poco models have really leveraged high-end specifications and hardware with some notable cutbacks to achieve almost ridiculously low pricing. The first follow-up to the wildly popular Poco F1 was the X2 earlier this year. Instead of “truly” high-end specifications, the Poco X2 was more modest.
With that in mind, the Poco X3 NFC is yet another “modest” device but it still manages to be enticing thanks to some really notable hardware.

POCO is getting ready to launch the POCO F2, a successor to the well-received POCO F1. The company teased the upcoming phone in a tweet, showing off the phones it had launched in 2020 alongside what it expected to debut in 2021.

POCO had technically already launched a successor to the F1 in the F2 Pro. That phone was a critical success, bringing the essentials with sturdy hardware, a powerful processor, 5G support, and a relatively low price. But POCO had always promised to launch a proper non-pro F2, and it seems to be fulfilling that in 2021.
It's not clear when the POCO F2 will launch or how Poco F2 Pro will be cut down to reach a lower price point. if the Pro had a 120Hz display like other phones, perhaps it would have shipper with a 60Hz display instead.

POCO on Tuesday expanded its smartphone lineup with the launch of the POCO M4 Pro 5G. The new phone succeeds the POCO M3 Pro 5G that came out in May and brings several notable improvements, including an updated design, a faster chipset, improved cameras, and more.

The POCO M4 Pro 5G is essentially a rebranded version of the vanilla Redmi Note 11 that was recently launched in China. However, as always, POCO has made several aesthetic changes that give the phone a unique identity.

The POCO M4 Pro 5G features a 6.6-inch LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate and DCI-P3 wide color gamut support. On the inside, the phone packs a MediaTek 810 SoC, a step up from the Dimensity 700 on the POCO M3 Pro. The chipset is paired with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB UFS 2.2 storage.
Pricing & Availability
The POCO M4 Pro 5G will go on sale starting November 11 in various European markets via POCO’s official website, Amazon, AliExpress, and other e-commerce platforms. The phone will be available at an early bird price of €199 for the base 4GB/64GB model and €219 for the 6GB/128GB model.
