That's hard to say. I waited years for Chandler, and didn't fully give up until Mitch Kapor bailed.

Hey, thanks :) I'd give up on xB if it stopped working, and wasn't fixed, or if there were credible evidence that it had been compromised.

Please say more about that. Are you implying that they're buried in LEA requests?

Perhaps not the most likely explanation for the lack of communication from XeroBank, but one possibility (?) to consider is that Xero Networks is in the process of being acquired by a public company and, as a consequence, has entered into the “quiet period” required by security regulations.

WOW!! After years of "lurking" at Wilders it took a "reply" from Steve to draw me out of hiding!!

I guess I could ask Steve, "What's up with XeroBank these days?" but it is obvious that he ALREADY has read all of the comments & questions that have been posted thus far!!

Oh well, I still have no issues (re: XeroBank) & still have good connections. Only "time will tell" what's down the road!

Well, folks, you've just seen the height of arrogance. All the questions from his customers that could be answered here and he - again - pops into Wilders to offer a one-liner. What a poke in the eye of XB customers who are wondering what in the blank is going on. I'm ashamed I stood behind Steve for so long. Wow.

I'm with raidershog, I guess. Still, although I've long accepted that xB isn't a typical business, the enigma level is becoming rather unnerving. Perhaps I just don't get the joke. And, if so, I hate that! Time will tell.

    Isn't goldenone = Kyle from Zerobank ?

Having just read the Whole page on the link, i'm not not sure if he's saying people should be concerned, or reassured ?

    Also it says this :D

Ooh, well that's me under investigation then :D Except i viewed by a HTTPS proxy :D

    @ SteveTX

Why do you constantly refuse to answer any/all reasonble questions about all the delays etc with your forum etc ?

Also why have you allowed your SSL cert to expire ?

If you want people to have confidence in Zerobank, which i would surmise you do, if not  then you MUST give FULL & meaningful replies & often.

Maybe you now only care about BIG $ clients & the 3 letter agencies etc ?

You could attempt to make everything right, but you don't, why you don't ?

Well do tell, what do you make of it? Personally I can't say I make anything of it, are we suppose to? Because I can't imagine any business out there offering VPN services at some point if there is some belief to the services being used for criminal activity, that they aren't going to cooperate with law enforcement.

    So?

Upon reflection, I believe that the message is "no comment".

So I got my mac thing working (you can't use tblk packages - need to use opvn as is). But tonight I can't connect to xerobank at all, through any alternative. so it looks like all of you pessimists were correct.

I also presently have NO issues with connections for both 1-hop & 2-hop connections.

Neither the Google map nor the bullseye are encrypted. That's not problematic, AFAIK.

    So that's why, thanks :thumb:

Well if it's just the HTTP link/s from things like that to https://xerobank.com but from XB to us is then All HTTPS, then yes i suppose it "might" be OK. I'm not sure if it is like that though ? i would hope it is !

Please recall that an encrypted VPN tunnel carries all traffic between the xB exit node that you're using and your machine. That's the transport layer for the HTTP or HTTPS. Only traffic between the xB anonymity checker and the xB exit node that you're using traverses the internet (and perhaps not even that, if it's routed within xB). That's the only traffic where HTTP vs HTTPS might matter. Given that this traffic carries information only about said xB exit node, why do you care who sees it? I suppose that someone could manipulate the map and bullseye images, but that would be pretty obvious.

    Steve,

Tried accessing the "Helpdesk" section on the Xb website, but it returns a "503 - Service not available" error message.

The forum used to have an email address for Wizard for technical issues, but that is now missing as well. Can you let us know when Xb support will return please?

    Link is: https://xerobank.com/support/helpdesk/

    @Sheldon7

What problem are you having? You can PM me if you like.

    @tobacco

Well, it does ;) When it doesn't, I'll let y'all know (after choosing another VPN, anyway).

    Hi Sheldon7,

*Helpdesk* = too old stuff = not useful for users => confusion for new users => we decided to disable it.

Technical support is always reachable by email. That has not changed. So do not hesitate to contact us.

You can email me : wizardsupport [at] xerobank [dot] com

The XeroBank forum will return with the coming launch of our new website.
You find it again on this new website your regular features like forum and many other new things.

We are there as always and for a long time.
