XB MACHINE

    hi can i ask a few questions about xb machine

    1 does it cost any money to use
    2 do i install it like if i was reformatting my xp home
    3 is the xb vpn already in the set up so if i subscribe do i just input my serial
    4 is it compatible with all my software like cd clone and other stuff
    5 do i still need zone alarm pro using xb machine
    6 i am in the uk and do you think it is well worth using with the other xb products

    1. It is totally free
    2. You could if you wanted, but no. You can either use it on your operating system as it is now and a new window will pop up, or you can burn the ISO image to CD and boot from it.
    3. Yup. We are still modifying the credentials downloader for 2.0, but yes it has the vpn software in it.

    5. You do not need a firewall if a) all your surfing/internet is going through xb machine, b) you are not worried about people on your home network attacking you. Typically if you're behind a home router that is quite sufficient already.
    6. xb machine is the ultimate secure os. you can use it all alone or in tandem. it already has a secure browser, secure mail, secure IM already built into it. it takes a little getting used to, but once you do it is very serious security.
