If I type that in Start box there's nothing there with that name. I was wondering this before since I've noticed (while scanning) that I've got some old Prog Data Kaspersky files, but when I looked, I couldn't find them. Where could mine be hiddeno_O e.g in C:\Users somewhere perhaps? Weird.

You have to show hidden folders and files!

I just got mine back to 962 KB By placing wrdata in custom folder in options of ccleaner. Now I will allow active processes as joe had suggested of items marked as monitor.I hope that keeps it from large data build up.

I would like to hear back from Joe before I do anything because I think those files has something to do with offline protection? We just need some Details? Mine is 82.9MB ATM so far for me it it's going up and down on it's own.

Just open My Computer / Windows Explorer and type: %programdata%, that will take you directly to ProgramData without having to enable view hidden files and folders.

In a similar way %appdata% takes you to C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Roaming and from there you can easily navigate to AppData\Local.

You definitely do not want to do that. These files are used for offline protection, internal management of the WSA databases, and for ensuring any changes made by malware can be reverted. If you could please just send in your scan logs, we'll whitelist your files and work on other generic changes to prevent them from being logged.

In Webroot SecureAnywhere PUBLIC Beta forum section. The tip was to reinstall WSA. That reduce the file size right away. Now whether it will build up again is another story. Only time will tell.

Mine is 53.3MB since August 11th. Is this too large?

But if you do another install, won't it just build up fast again? Or has this been solved?

PrevxHelp has advised that if the folder size becomes too large i.e. the sort of figures we're seeing reported, send them a scan log. I believe the files therein can then be whitelisted or something like that.

The size difference is due to fewer files being monitored as they're marked as trusted. The databases are self-cleaning but the cleaning procedures only take place every few days. We are focusing on malware prevention at the moment but we will be working on whitelisting more applications once we have a wider beta userbase so in the meantime, sending in scan logs to us is a quick way for us to whitelist them manually.

Quick question, does the database only applies to executables or archives and other filetypes too?

It is for rolling back changes made by suspicious executables.
