Sure. Why not? I've been using Kaspersky Internet Security made in Russia for many years.

I do, just not a big fan of kaspersky though...I do use Reg Organizer, that is produced by a Russian software company.

Yes. I've got a solid amount of trust in the Adguard development team.

I use Soft Organizer, DriverPack Solution, and also an English language version of the Chinese archiver HaoZip, which was translated and released in Russia.

Years ago, I used Kaspersky Internet Security and AOL Active Virus Shield. I have ABBY FineReader installed on my computer, but I don't currently use it.

I used Carambis Driver Updater a few years back.

Most of the software I use, comes from China.

I've tried Kaspersky AV and Kaspersky AR in past. I don't care from which country developer is. If I like the product I will use it.

Installed ReactOS (as a VM) some time ago – but removed it some months later due to issues and unknowns (nothing to do with it being Russian!)

old sayin "set a thief to catch a thief" is applicable. i of course do not mean that any of the reputable vendors from russia are thieves, just that they have a lot of hackers living and 'working' over there, and thus the legit companies have a lot of experience dealing with them and securing systems against them. i used and supported agnitum's outpost for many years, and trusted them implicitly. i'd be using it today but it no longer installs on my win10 insider build. (i'm using adaware antivirus pro (canadian) now, it has past links to outpost, so it ameliorates my withdrawal symptoms)

Yeah, why not? I have no problem installing software from USA either. Most of us Windows ffs! :D I assume that they all spy, or cant stop them from spying, for their security agencies one way or another and act accordingly.

Privacy concerned people should follow a simple rule: US/EU citizens should use RU/CN software/services and vice versa. I follow that rule to the letter.

    What panic?
Do you mean the concerted propaganda our "independent" Western media have been spitting like venom?

To answer the question: yes, I'd install Russian software if from reputable sources; in fact I'm more concerned with US based companies, Microsoft and Google come to mind.
