Would welcome advice on screen resolution

    I have tried altering a few settings but the one you see here is the one I get when using the live cd. Seems as if it's moved to the right and left a half inch black space all down the lefthand side of the screen. Makes it a bit difficult using the X shutdown button top right of screen!!

    Just noticed that in my screenshot above, the whole page including the minimize and maximize page buttons are visible, yet on my desktop now as I look, they are not, and there is a black band down the full length of the left hand side of the screen.



    EDIT...

    Apologies to all, it was a moitor related setting issue, fixed it now.

    No offence taken, I laughed myself that I could have missed something so obvious as a monitor setting :)
