I downloaded the 30 day trial of Wormguard, and then ran it through Jotti's Online scan. All the scans were negative, but the scan showed Packed/packers present in the exe. Is this normal for Wormguard?

    Hi MRGEEK. :)

I guess it is, but rest assured, WG is totally benign in that regard. I cannot answer on behalf of DCS however, just my own opinion as to the reason, but guess it's needed for that type of program. Remember, it's pretty old for a program, and if done today, maybe it would not have been necessary. Just purely guessing on that score. ;)

    Cheers, TAS

Thanks, just checking. Same result as I got. I figured it was ok, but I am more cautious than I used to be in downloading and installing programs.

Nothing wrong with that! You're already a lot less likely to be infected than many users just by being careful :) Its ALWAYS good to see users being careful.
