    gave it a quick spin, does not have any engine/malware definitions from what i can see. scan completed in 1 second and you manually select which startup items you want to remove (why not just use msconfig for this task? :doubt: )

    virus definitions will be added at a later date, avoid until then

    Wow you got a tiny HD yes? :D I'm just joking.

    Yes I did read that one has to manually delete the stuff it may find, so this tool is probably not for the average user since they may delete everything, including "good" files in the list = :ouch:

    So what does it scan other than startup items?

    We have autoruns for startup items;) Did anybody else try this, does it have more to offer ?

    nothing from what i could see.

    and yes Autoruns is infinitely better, runscanner is also much better

    Of course that is quite correct,disk imaging negates the problem of malware removal almost completely.

    Unfortunately these pre-emptive solutions are still relatively unknown to most users and are probably only discovered after a system meltdown,therefore malware removal tools still have a purpose.

    Guess I'll wait until it's feature-complete then. Really should be an alpha.
