Won't create Image

    I'm having issues and hope someone can help. I go through all the steps to create and image and click proceed, and the software just sites there at the screen showing progress of the current operation and total progress...and nothing happens, it just sites there, I can click either cancel or hide, but nothing else.

    Am I missing something?

    In the main windows, in the lower right corner, it just says no backup started...

    Also in the main window, I can right click on the current operation, and my chices are either Delete or Start now. When I click Start New, I get taken back to the same 'Commit Pending Operations' screen...

    What am I doing wrong. I'm new to imaging programs, but an quite proficient with computers...I must be missing something.

    First of all, please make sure you use the latest build, which is available on our web site at http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/support/updates/. To get access to updates you should register your software first at http://www.acronis.com/my/products/registration/. Please disable any download managers, internet download/connection boosters, etc. before the download.

    After that please let us know whether the problem remains. If it does could you please describe the details of the task you launch: what disk (partition) do you image? where do you store the image?

    Ah, yes...updating did the trick

    I had a similar problem... it just sat there doing nothing, but I saw the drives were spinning. I believe it said "preparing" or something like that (just before you see the backup running)

    I closed Acronis TI and double clicked the icon in the tray. Now I saw the backup was already about 30%

    It mut be a screen update issue or something. This again happened on build 1124 of enterprise server, and also on the workstation version.
