    $10K < than a sneeze for MS's perspective.

Know that penny on the floor you no longer pickup? To M$ 10k is less than that.

Maybe few hundred or thousands of such "pennies" would make a change? :)

Decline Option... :argh: :argh: What took them so long? Microsoft = Engaging in Bad Business Practices.

That is correct. That is why I don't upgrade. And it's something Ms doesn't understand.

I'm sure MS understands ALL of the ramifications of what it's doing. It probably did extensive calculations ahead of time, figuring out what % of the people would reject the offer, or hate it, and so on, and how many would be suckered into going for it. I'm sure they took it all into account before they even started, and I'm sure they knew they'd lose a certain percentage of the users and market too. They don't care. It's all a calculated risk game and they think they're going to come out ahead in spite of any problems.

I really don't think so. I think <5% of users care or are capable of stopping W10.

My sister tried to upgrade earlier this year but every time she tried it the download failed. What a joke.

Maybe she should. Come to think of it, everyone who can't get updates from M$ should start a class action suit for leaving them vulnerable. :D
