That is more likely part of Windows Media Player. SQM (Service Quality Mechanism) files are created by Microsoft products, like Office.

    Hey , Close_Hauled

I found this link about wmplog.sqm>

    http://filext.com/info/showthread.php?t=1114

Open mediaplayer Go to Tools -> Options -> Privacy tab and by default this is checked: Customer Experience Improvement Program. (I want to help make Microsoft software and services even better by sending Player usage data to Microsoft.) I disabled this in media player and hopefully it should stop creating .sqm log files.

    Thanks T
