    Hi EASTER.

I right clicked on the Firewall Rules that I want to keep and clicked "Ignore This Item", but next time I scan, they're back in the list.
Do you or anyone else know if there's a bug with the HiBit Uninstaller Registry Cleaner Ignore List?

Hi @Hadron - I'm not sure if there's a bug with these last new update releases with the Ignore List or not yet. But it's definitely something i want to look into myself. Thanks for bringing it up

It has some handy tools. I didn't know I had so many empty folders.
The VirusTotal columns in the Process, Startup, Service and Scheduler Managers are a nice addition too.

This is the very first of it's kind (HiBit) where i haven't encountered a single issue when using the Registry Cleaner Feature. Even if it did happen to miscue HiBit Uninstaller makes a BackUp & Restore for that although i never even tested it. Haven't had any issues.

On this side of the fence it's been error-free. Plus your so right of all the many other useful features that it offers.

Scanned with ver 11.8, found quit a bit, many problems I belive came from, OneDrive, not 'un-synched' prior uninstall. Chat_GPT does make mistakes!

The scan found 40 'unsafe to remove' entries, are like they 'yellow ones' referncing d:'s intall location for office? < I'm sure that's correct, but double check>

I did make the 'full reg BU', using Wise, I've mever had to restore reg from backup, where's the default storage place for wise reg back-ups. If needed
is it a 'double-click' the backup restores, or how to restore if necessary?

Before 'clean' I will make a 'Macrium BU', < what was done routinley with ease becomes more complicated, wirh age! > Extra precaution!!!

    lol, "issues"
those are not "issues", those are windows regular working and caching.
and windows will recreate those entries when the app oder file behind is loaded again.
so you are cleaning over and over again the same stuff and make windows slow due this.
just let it be and dont screw on it.

nice joke of wise - "2034 issues". what a marketing crap.

Rico: The default path for the registry backups in Wise Registry Cleaner is C:\Users\accountname\AppData\Roaming\Wise Registry, and they appear to be double-click .reg files.

I don't worry about the "unsafe" entries. Let the application do its thing and, if Windows needs to re-create a registry key or two, let it.

That would definitely work, yes. Sorry, I answered one question and ignored the other. My bad.

Embarrassed! I used to teach backups, and was a beta tester back then for Norton. I used this analogy on Reg Cleaners; it's like a telephone book scans the book, and phone numbers listed not in service, are flagged as errors, by the reg cleaner. Many flagged scares user to purchase.

@DangitallRedux - "Let the application do its thing and, if Windows needs to re-create a registry key or two, let it." WOW, all kinds of crazy things.

Again, 'all' started from not turning OneDrive synch OFF; before manual del's, it kept synching, causing 'latent' chat gpt, made it much worse. M$ one of the reset options for OneDrive worked, not sure which one. OneDrive is now in sys tray and chose pause sync permanently. Strange, this am gmail works fine, I could reply to email send, but 'send' was now a no-show in 'Compose' Stop the sync. Send is back in the compose, probably upload to one drive messed up, something along those lines, maybe

sys restore back to prior Okay, success Chrome will not open, undo sys. restore Chrome back to normal. Two machines not M$ not synch <intentionally>, with chrome synch on,
2nd machine inherits some of the problems seen in the other. I wonder why sfc /scannow, & dism restore health, never corrected the broken onedrive or not flagged.

Also unlinked the account to one drive, and got stuff from users > onedirve. Then attacked onedrive with Revo
