    I think it was the PUA reg tweak. Something about blocking a program that could potentially make unwanted changes to my machine. Downloaded again on the same machine and WD didn't react.

    At least it's being detected as Potentially Unwanted and not malicious.

    I just scanned both the installer and WDC executable at VirusTotal and they both were not detected by any scanners.

    I suspect it is just WD being aggressive against PUAs. MB, HMP and Norton detected no threat.

    I was only interested in seeing what WDC detected for the graphics card I PM'ed you about some time ago. Otherwise, my machines don't appear to have driver issues.

    roger_m - thanks for the post, it seems to be a good program, it found some newer drivers for an older laptop, which seemed to have improved performance
