WinXP SP3 - should I get it?

    I must have been fortunate. Download took 5 minutes. Install took 10 to 15 minutes.

    From start to finish, it probably took 3 1/2-4 hours on my older model desktop. I would have felt fortunate if it had only taken an hour!

    I upgraded one machine last night, since it really didn't matter if it broke anything(thats another story). I had downloaded the iso and burnt it so I had that.

    I can't say I see a downgrade or upgrade of performance.

    I did what nickr suggested and removed about 160 MB of hotfix stuff, but SP3 added over a gig back. Thats about it.
