I updated WinUtilities Pro to version 9.66 today and I noticed that there weren't any opt outs for the Ask components(Toolbar, search, and home page) that were bundled in the installation before.
It looks to me like Ask has been removed.
If so, this is the first version that doesn't have it as far as I can tell.
    Anyone else notice this too?

Ahh. So I'm not the only one that noticed.
Ask is gone in the latest update(9.67) also.

I am afraid Ask is back with 9.67 version.

    Not here. Installed 9.67 yesterday.
No opt out for Ask and nothing in the registry from Ask.

The MD5 for the installer here is eb3a144bbb011c1d79321107440f3579.

I get my update installers through my default browser when WU Pro alerts me that there is an update available.
I get the installer from YL Computing's home site.

Strange, since I also followed the same procedure. Must be one of those // universe like in "Fringe"... ;)

    Strange indeed.
YLComputing must have two different installers for 9.67?
I'll be watching future updates to see if I can find ASK included again in the installers.

Anyway, that's not a big deal (with or w/o) since the toolbar can be optionally unselected at install time.

    Hi MerleOne.

Just updated to version 9.68 and the ASK opt-out is in that installer.
I detest toolbars and the like. At least they have the opt-out.
