Strange, I bought TCPView Pro, had problems with it, went to winternals.com, registered, posted a message, got no worthwhile response, posted again, posted again suggesting that they took my money so they really should response, and suddenly there's no BBS. I love this kind of customer support, don't you?
Blaze, I'm amused at the thought of hitting them with a rocket luncher. Would you suggest spam sandwiches?
Checkout I thought about going there myself ,but had a sudden change of heart. Thanks for the (hint) .
I need a picture, Mickey. My company's firewall won't let me get to springnals (www.springnals.com) and I didn't say winternals had gone, only that they've got rid of their support BBS. Can I have pretty colours in the picture, please?
Duh. Duh. Oh, Mickey, how can you be so cruel? Duh. Mickey; You are so tricky; Now you've made me; Feel pretty sickey. Worse, say; Upon this wretched day; You've got support from; The poet Fanj.
LOL You're not only a SF-writer, but also a poet, Checkout ! Paul, can we have a special poet-forum-section
That's a soft spot you are hitting here . Kavafis, Bloem, Emely Dickinson, Eijkelboom, Dante, T.S Elliot, Shelley, Keats, Neruda, Verlaine...and some others are my favorite ones. Might start a new site one day only devoted to poetry. Alas: this board is not the place! regards. paul
My top, about, to blow, am I; TCPView's in my eye; Just found out the demo works; The licensed version's writ by jerks; Alas, a 14-day trial; Is better than the paid (something licensed that rhymes with trial but doesn't work). I'm hopping mad! Somebody stop me before I contact TheRegister!
Wish I could find a free alternative to TCPView for Win98SE. Checkout, checkout: http://www.antifirewall.com/
Blacksheep, Blacksheep...have you any wool? Some for my ears and an internet tool? Up goes my firewall, down go my bugs; One for the bastard who emails me slugs.
Sad-tox, click "quote" and if you want the whole quote, just put your reply beneath. If you want to quote a part, delete the part you don't want to quote. regards, paul
For completeness, here's the end of the story: TCPView Pro 14-day demo is V1.06 When I bought it, they supplied V1.03 - incompatible with XP I wrote to their support two days ago, they asked for proof of purchase, I supplied same, and they e-shipped the licensed V1.06 copy to me yesterday. Works just fine.
