Methinks the pies would be put to better use by having a bake sale. We'll know in a couple of days just how many $$ the UK blew on this event.

    Dear Big Ed,

Re your memo of the 25 inst.

I have it on good authority that our reluctance to bring medals home is entirely due to the limitations placed on metal cleaning materials declared toxic by various UK Government Departments.

Our natural ability let loose would I am assured result in an environmental disaster were the otherwise predicted amount of medals brought back to the Nations shores. Plus of course the additional air baggage handling fees would have been dreadfully prohibitive.

Ultimately then, we don't see ourselves as woefully short of medals - but as environmental warriors sacrificing ourselves for the planet & the economy.

I myself have been forced over the years to hide my own considerable prowess for the same good reasons. But stand ready and waiting - poised like a fox should my Country call.

Well, I must say that you bring up some very pointy points....so keep your eyes-open!

As most of you UK'ers must know...Cochise's mettles have been tarnished due to engorging on copious amts of "Baked Bean Man's" finest. Stand clear and look to the skies young e-o... he lets loose at every opportunity.

    Be afeared...be very afeared!!

May the Force be downwind, Concerned ed

Ps...The UK Bobsled Team cudda used Chise as the last man on the sled to supply a little extra push.
