That would be true. :cautious: Looks like our men's team beat the Germans today though. :)

    I wouldn't bet on it. ;) :D

 The performance by the Chinese figure skating pair last night has got to be the most awe inspiring performance that I have ever seen. I was standing in front of my T.V. clapping right along with the crowd. If this does not go down in the annals of sports history as the greatest performance after a disaster, I have no idea as to what would.

    Thanks

I watched him on the X Games. He so out classes the competition. No one can do a 1080 like he can. He is so clean in the air and on his landings.

UbiSoft has already announced a video game based on him:

    http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&ned=us&q="Shaun White" Ubisoft&btnG=Search News

My hat goes off to this kid. I find most snow boarders rude and inconsiderate. But he seems to be genuinely nice. I wish him the best.

the most incredible world record of all time was broken eariler today

i noticed while i was watching the speed skating i could put on my slippers and skate around my bed, on my new wooden floor, in about the same time it takes to do a lap of the Olympic rink. i haven't done any training but i decided to race around my bed to see if i could win the gold for GB in the speed skating 5,000 meters final.

it wasn't easy but i managed to settle into a comfortable rhythm while saving something in the tank for the final push. i did the last lap round my bed in about 3 seconds  it was abit frantic but i still managed to smash the world record to take the gold for my country  :D :D

i've cleared some space in the corridor so i can do some curling tomorrow :p

As I do not abide discrimination as to race, creed, hairdos, or fish....your application is being expedited. Do you plan to enter the Upstream or Downstream competition? Be prepared to tackle your rod and reel in the event you can't negotiate the fish ladder. I would accept nothing less than the Sliver Medal!

 Remember all you hopefuls, do not count your coins before the Gold is in the bank. Do not stop to wave at the crowds, do not celebrate prematurely. Disregard this if Sterling will suffice for you.

    Thanks

How about a variation of Curling? You could chase raccoons across the ice with a broom. :D

Now, they have taken up racing around the store, I am sure it's to confuse me, cuz them rac's look so much alike.
Balancing on the beams of the posts on the store veranda....was the game of the day, today.
I give the littlest one an 8! :D
He also got into the store from UNDER the floor, not sure what Olympic game that would be called.:p

Dumpster Diving is their best sport tho......they can lift the lids up, (bear proof lids:eek:) in record time.......

Will try snow shovel 'curling' now that it finally snowed!:D

    Woo hoo!!

USA and Canada Hockey teams out on their kiesters! At least the Canadians left w/a bit more class than we did. Our non performers blamed jet lag, facilities, executives, coach, alignment of the planets, and anything else you care to add. No mention of playing like crap!

    Bring back the amateurs!!

    Play on, big ed
