Winsonar New

They have just released a new Winsonar. I have it on my other computer. Do I need to remove the older version before downloading the new one?

I also use WinSonar and think it's great, but i would stay with the version you have for now, as others have been having problems with the new one.

First of all i think if the Mods could move/merge this thread

with the one in here it would be seen by more people who might benefit from the compounded Important info !


Yesterday i emailed WinSonar to let them know about the reported issue/s some of you were experiencing. Today i recieved this reply which i hope should help for now.

Dear Winsonar user, despite the beta version of the program has been tested on several OS and hardware configurations without problems, some users reported problems ( 2 cases of PC hang, 1 case of raising of CPU temperature ) with the new version of the program (Winsonar 2005 XPlus build 5.55.03). As precautional measure, the availabiity of this version has been stopped.

The old version ( Winsonar 2005 XP build 5.01.03) will be available as usual on Zancart Software site.

Please report any bug or problem about build 5.55.03 to zancart@yahoo.it
