Okay, so a few days ago I got a registry list off here for WinPatrol. I can only find the one from 2011. Anyone know where the recent one is?

I tried the one for UAC disabled, and it totally screwed up my registry. I was notified that C:/ was off of autorun. I couldn't find anything about how to change this, so I logged off after I found out stupid System Restore had no backups and tried to see if I could log back in. Nope. It was bricked, so I had to use Last Known Good Config. Unfortunately, it booted back up at the time right when I doubled click the reg file. Go figure.

I wasn't stuck with the C:/ problem anymore, but my network connection was totally messed up. I eventually sorted out most of it, but IE9 doesn't want to load but Pale Moon will. I've tried resetting Winsock, renewing HOST file, flushing DNS, etc.

Does anyone here think they know if that file could have been the cause of this, or it was just corruption from going to LKGC? Anyways, anyone know where that file is at?

That's not what I meant. There were two lists: one for UAC maxed and one for UAC disabled. It was a 123 process, yet somehow I messed up, or the list wasn't safe itself. I still don't get how it allowed C:/ to be knocked off autorun.

And it's not like I messed with them. The list was provided. I did nothing except change .txt to reg. Ironic that you're telling me to take another one. lol

Been there. Done that. I've tried almost everything possible. It gives me stupid "can't find proxy settings" errors, yet that's not checked and "incompatible address bla bla bla protocol". About 4 networking services can't be started.

Uninstall the services and reinstall them.

Okay, I found that previously, but it looks to be the same file even though it says 2011. Thanks for pointing to it.

So how do I do it?

I want to delete Function Discovery Resource Publication, so that should be "sc delete FDResPub", However, how do I create it back? There's more than just the name parameter.

    sc <server> create [service name] [binPath= ] <option1> <option2>...

    Service Name : FDResPub
Display Name : Function Discovery Resource Publication
    Dll path : C:\Windows\system32\fdrespub.dll
    Image path : C:\Windows\system32\svchost.exe -k LocalServiceAndNoImpersonation

Thanks, but I reinstalled Windows instead. I didn't even have to transfer anything, since it's all put in the Windows.old file. I think it was a blessing in disguise, since no registry cleaner and good uninstaller was going to make it run lik new again. XD
