WinPatrol 2012 version 24.0

    Just trying out WinPatrol. That's a busy UI. What feature/s of WinPatrol do you guys use regularly? What's it best features?

    I like the startup manager and the IE Add-ons manager. I used to use the startup delay option too, but now I prefer Soluto for that. Winpatrol alerts to system changes and that might help you catch something you don't want on the system, but I think its' main strength is it brings together a lot of information that you otherwise have to access through mulitple UI's in the OS.

    winpatrol replaced here in first sight the blown r2 startup delayer 3.0. in second WP offers me more of features at one click i need than r2 sd.
    na, all fine here. dont forget to set up the tray ;)

    I uninstalled winpatrol free........but winpatrol plus info appears in the context menu when I right-click on the items in the Start menu and in All Programs.......how do I remove this?....please somebody help me.......

    I use regscanner to search for Winpatrol Plus Info in the shell context menu, (It became a habit of mine when uninstalling software, search with Regscanner and delete keys manually :D). Or you could install it again, disable shell context menu, then uninstall again.

    Glary Utilities let you disable right-click items, you could try the demo version and see if it works for you. Also WinPatrol support could help you with that, I am sure they would !

    WinPatrol PLUS information is not available to non-license holders. That said, if you are not a PLUS subscriber and no longer want to use WinPatrol, it could be you did not have a clean uninstall. See my instructions here for how to completely remove WinPatrol from your computer.

    hmm....not willing to install any new software....

    @MerleOne
    don't like glary utilities.......but I've sent an email to the winpatrol support....not sure if I'll receive any reply for a winpatrol free problem......

    @Corrine
    already tried those.....you might wanna add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\BillP Studios

    ah! prob solved....Mr. Bill Pytlovany replied my email with the solution......removing HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\exefile\shell\WinPatrol PLUS using regedit solves it..........
