Winfixer issue

    Hi there! I'm a newbie, too...What do ya'll know about winfixer?

    I keep getting the pop-ups for winfixer , and thus far, have avoided contracting anything.

    What is it and how can I make the pop-ups stop? I am currently using ZoneAlarm, Microsoft AntiSpyware, SpywareBlaster, Spybot, Ad-Aware SE Personal, and AVG Free Edition. None of these seems to be able to stop the pop-ups.

    I know how to avoid them, but my 9 year old son is also a user on my computer and I am concerned that he may inadvertantly download something that he shouldn't.

    Help?
