    Hello Roxanne :)

Could you please explain the problems a bit more detailed - like any specific error messages or something? There are a lot of Windows specialists around here (and no I'm not one of them :() And even if we cant help to fix the problem, we might at least have a better idea of what SP2 is doing to all these PCs. I'm sure someone can help you :)

And no, I do NOT work for Microsoft :)

The nice thing about computers is that there are people who are prepared to help. I can't imagine what I'd do if I had to rely on F1 variety of help.

But as for superhero's, the last of that breed, so far as I know, is Angle Grinder Man.

this is just a related to sp2 FYI.

I just found out that you cannot install NAV 2004 or 2005 with KB828741 installed. Okay, here is the situation as I see it:

Norton Antivirus: Most popular AV in the world .

SP2- So hyped by everyone that probably lots of people who had not installed KB828741 ended up installing it when they installed SP2.

The sequence of actions is what is criticle - According to Norton's help page.
If NAV is installed before the Update, then it's all right.

If NAV is installed afterward, big problem!

Now I have NAV 2003, which is not effected (as far as I know) but I am quite sure that I installed the update first, and then NAV, because I was using the SP2 disk and was not connected to the internet during the set up.

Considering the number of Norton Anti Virus users, one can only imagine how many problems were created by just this one issue!

    Hey, Firecat!

How's all that Microsoft stock you have doing? Sure hope that investment works out for you!
