Windows XP Scheduled tasks say "Could not start"

    Using Windows XP home SP3. Since upgrading to 5.2, all my previously scheduled tasks are not running (not ESET tasks, but Windows Task Scheduler tasks) . They all say "Could not start" in the status column. If I try to run them from the task scheduler manually by right-clicking and chosing "run," nothing happens. I have verified that the Task Scheduler service is running.
