windows Xp date

    Hello I did a restore a few weeks ago I cpuld of swore my date read
    Thursday January 2, 2003 Now I cant get it to do that can someone tell me if it is possible to do or Can't have the day first I really think it did say it before my restore I have went into the control panel ect tried to fix it but no go.
    Any help will be great thanks Everyone :)

    Hi Helia,

    Where exactly did you read that? In the systray or somewhere else?
    Did you look in the regional settings of the control panel as well?

    Yes I have gone to regional

    I mean on my task bar when I take my mouse to the time it shows date as January 2 2003 I thought I had it as Thursday January 2 2002 before my computer Restore

    Helia,

    Here's a screen image of the place Pieter was referring to (see below). You get there via Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Customize button.

    You can select any of the available date formats and then just hit OK to save it.
