Have a Windows 7 laptop. Installed Smart Security today. Spent the whole day trying to do the updates. Updates would download and install, but the computer would freeze on the reboot. I would get the message "updates being installed, do not turn off the computer". I would get this message for hours. I would eventually kill the process and do a restore on my computer from safe mode. Eventually, I uninstalled Smart Security and the 50 mb of updates installed in 10 minutes. Am I going to have to uninstall SS every time I need to do Windows Updates? BTW, use the ESET uninstaller and not the Control Panel uninstaller.
