Windows Update

I have three dell office computers, all the same model, exactly the same spec, and exactly the same OS from 1 DVD. Three weeks ago I did a complete clean of all three systems, I re-installed Windows Vista Business along with all the security and software. All three of the machines were updated exactly the same, several times until no further updates were available. Heres the strange part. One of the machines updated to Vista SP2, while the other two machines were still on SP1. Today, the remaining two machines asked me to install SP2.

What took so long for the other two machines to get SP2?
