Windows System Restore & Security Suites

    I was reading the thread on Bitdefender 2014 where a poster said that he was unable to get Windows System Restore to work with BSIS without booting into Safe Mode and disabling a BD service. I had a similar experience with G Data Internet Security that I was never able to resolve. With Norton, you can get System Restore to run, but you must first turn off product tamper protection.

    This got me to wondering - just how many security suites are actually compatible with System Restore?
